Luxury Industry - necessary evil

Luxury industry meets the needs beyond the basic necessity. People who has excess money has a way to spend and people who do not have money has a motivation to make money. While this is not so destructive in the developed countries, this has a profound impact on the developing countries forcing people to indulge in corruption and unethical practises.

People in developing countries are tempted to possess things beyond the basic needs due to the glitter shown by the products and service catered by these so called luxury industry. Imagine a world where you cannot spend beyond a limit and your motivation to make "more and more money" will eventually fade.
